Funding Your Tech-Based Startup 

*This will be a live online workshop via Zoom* 

In this workshop Alan will share his considerable experience as a tech startup advisor covering the factors surrounding funding a tech start up and exploring the avenues for funding.

We'll also prepare you to pitch your tech start up to investors by explaining about funding, examining the issues where you should focus, and covering the points investors will use to judge the pitch.

Alan Hulme-Lowe had a long career as a technology executive at 3M Company, responsible for new technology / product development and launch. Since retiring from 3M he has developed a significant experience in advising tech startups and currently is a board advisor to 4 companies at various stages of development. Alan has been a SCORE mentor for many years.

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees. 

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.  

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
