Fashion in the Fields Brunch & Fashion Show at Hope Farms Presented by Neiman Marcus

We are delighted to serve as Chairs of the Fashion in the Fields Brunch and Fashion Show at Hope Farms on November 11 to benefit Recipe for Success Foundation. We would be thrilled if you joined us as an Underwriter or secured your tickets!  We’re excited to create a new twist on the charity luncheon with this fun Sunday afternoon celebration of fashion and food at Hope Farms and to applaud the enormous strides that Recipe for Success Foundation has made over the last fourteen years in fighting childhood obesity.

The relaxed program will kick off with a Neiman Marcus fashion show presented in the Gathering Barn, featuring professional models along with a few very lucky children. We are excited to honor Chef of the Year, Kevin Naderi, and Volunteer of the Year Ellen Schwartz--shining a light on all they have done for the foundation, and to salute the veterans who are a part of the Veteran Farmer training program.  A robust Sunday Brunch by Culinaire follows and the afternoon will be rounded out with music, farm experiences and activities designed with somethng in mind for everyone.  Please review the opportunities and benefits afforded sponsors and supporters, including the chance for your favorite child to be featured in our fashion show!

Gracie & Bob Cavnar created Recipe for Success Foundation in 2005 to address the breathtaking epidemic of childhood obesity.  Committed to teaching, inspiring and empowering healthy eating, through the years the organization has emerged as a national leader, impacting tens of thousands of children and families in Houston and beyond with award-winning programs like Seed-to-Plate Nutrition Education™ curriculum in schools, farmers marKIDS DAYS, the VegOut! Challenge, and now the beautiful Hope Farms—7 acres in the middle of the city where they grow produce, teach people to cook, garden and farm, and inspire us all with community festivals and gatherings to celebrate local food.

Fashion in the Fields will raise critical funds to continue this vital work and expand programming to reach even more children and families with the knowledge, skills and fresh food they need to lead healthier lives.

Can we count on you to help Recipe for Success keep up the good work and reach even more children by joining us on November 11?

Warmly,

Melissa & Stephanie
