Heads up my friends.  We have had a change of plans!

We were all so excited that one my favorite designers and Texas native, Lela Rose was onboard for our 2020 Fashion in the Fields event--saluting a cherished, recently deceased board member, to benefit Recipe for Success Foundation. So we were disappointed when the COVID pandemic threw a wrench into our plans.

But, never fear! Lela has agreed to collaborate with us for two years, with a commitment to come in person for our full blown show, now scheduled for November of 2021.  And to celebrate and encourage our friends to commit early for next year's party, we will be treating Fashion in the Fields table buyers and underwriters with an invitation for an exclusive World of Lela Rose VIP Styling event on October 21, 2020 at Hope Farms.

We’re excited applaud the enormous strides that Recipe for Success Foundation has made over the last fifteen years in fighting childhood obesity, and to support their continued work in memory of a treasured board member we lost this year with these two fun celebrations of fashion and food that she loved so much. 

We couldn't have a healthier setting that the pastoral fields of Hope Farms on seven acres just south of the Loop. 

This year, our table underwriters will enjoy an alfresco styling event, brunch from Salata, Drinks to Match the Dress from Tito's and a Tootsies PopUp, as we preview Lela's Spring 2021 Collection and shop the trunk show, with chances to win ensembles. We will fete our Fashionalble Farm Fans on the runway with Tootsies fashion empresario, Fady Armanious and Lela herself talking fall and spring trends while keeping everyone safe, following health protocols that include Fashion in the Fields masks! October's weather will be glorious, so I hope you will amplify your commitment to Recipe for Success by getting your table for next year now and joining us on October 21.

Next year, on November 7, a fashion show with with that special Lela Rose touch, featuring professional models along with a few very lucky children will kick-off our Sunday afternoon, followed by a Veterans Day salute to our Warriors to Farmers trainees, a delightful Brunch presented by Houston’s favorite chefs and restaurants, music, farm walks and relaxed fun for everyone.
