The Southwest Sports Wellness Foundation (SWSWF) was established in 2010 to fulfill a need in the under-served areas of San Diego by underwriting high school sports screening assessments, supporting free high school sports injury clinics, educating medical doctors, physical therapists, and certified athletic trainers, and by providing scholarships for students with an interest in healthcare.
SWSWF is non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation.

The successful launch of SWSWF’s High School Sports Medicine Seminars combined with the planned opening of a comprehensive Sports Medicine & Wellness Center in the Sweetwater Union High School District solidifies SWSWF's commitment and dedication to improving access to health services for student athletes in 2019 and for many years to follow.
