Simple Steps Starting Your Business (2) – Business Plan 

This workshop will provide the basics of getting your ideas on paper to achieve your dream. Business plan starts with your vision and ends up with Financial Analysis, Pricing, Sales and Marketing strategies. You will get key insights through interaction with fellow entrepreneurs and SCORE mentors; learn about tools, templates and SCORE resources.

Lanny Oakes spent thirty-three years with Nationwide Insurance Company in various management positions including Property/Casualty claims adjustor, insurance agent, field sales management as a sales manager, agent and sales manager training and development manager, regional sales manager, sales director, and in several corporate (home office) marketing positions including manager of field sales compliance and audits, marketing manager, and marketing director.  Other positions included sales technical consultant, special projects director in the office of marketing, and acquisitions consultant.

Serves as a SCORE mentor, counselor, instructor, and is a member of the executive committee and chair of the membership committee.
