Efrem Keith Simmons is a Taxpayer Services Supervisor in the Tennessee Department of Revenue’s Memphis Regional Office. After joining TDOR in January 2011, Efrem has been involved in realigning the Memphis Regional Office to be more accessible and helpful in resolving taxpayer needs. Being a strong advocate for taxpayer education, Efrem also facilitates and presents in community outreaches about entrepreneurial and business development. Efrem earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting), Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (Entrepreneurial Studies), and a Master of Professional Studies (Training & Development) all from the University of Memphis and has worked twenty-nine (29) years as a small business consultant for entrepreneurs, CPAs and tax practitioners.
