Wendi Caplan-Carroll is Constant Contact’s Area Director for the Northeastern United States as well as the Regional Development Director for New York City and North Jersey. Wendi manages the activity of the Northeast Field team of Regional Directors and Authorized Local Experts. Wendi has 25 years of experience supporting small business, with a background in sales management, marketing, promotion, executive coaching and facilitation. Wendi serves on the Board of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. 

Additionally, she was a three-time national Billboard Magazine award recipient for her work in radio marketing and sales. She has written articles for NYreport.com and has been quoted by Fortune Magazine, Crain’s, Newark Star Ledger and New York Enterprise Report. Before becoming a successful entrepreneur, Patty Lennon spent fifteen years working in the financial arena as a VP at CitiGroup, where she oversaw multi-million dollar technology projects and managed teams of up to fifty people.  Through her focus on operations, sales, and business management, Patty picked up skills which have greatly benefited her as the current founder of Mom Gets A Life, the Mom Gets A Business Conference, and Crowdfund With Ease. 


Amanda Barbara is the Vice President of Pubslush, a literary-centric pre-publication platform that offers crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and pre-order options for authors and publishers. A philanthropist at heart, she serves on the board of directors for the Pubslush Foundation, which supports children’s literacy initiatives worldwide, and is a founder and director of The Barbara Family Foundation, an organization committed to assisting charities and children in need. Amanda is member of the Young Entrepreneur Council and is an advocate for crowdfunding in the publishing world.  She has spoken at various conferences, such as Writer's Digest, Exceptional Women in Publishing, Crowdfunding East Conference, and the Digital Publishing Innovation Summit, and has served as an ambassador and speaker at CONTEC at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Amanda has also contributed to Elite Daily, Yahoo Small Business, and Tech Cocktail.

For over two decades, DDM Production has been creating multimedia events that thrill and educate. Since DDM moved to the NYC metro area with the new millennium, we have worked with some of the top financial and creative companies in the world including: AOL/Time Warner, Xerox, Sesame Workshop, Atlantic Records, Christie’s New York, Estee Lauder, Macy’s, and Morgan Stanley.

Creating a compelling “pitch” is the key a successful crowdfunding campaing.  It’s also the key to being successful in business.  Understanding how to weave the story of your business or project so that it engages your potential clients (aka"Tribe") and supporters is an art form that improves with practice and feedback.
