GM Wintergarden & The Motown Museum

The Motown Museum is one of Michigan’s top international tourist destinations. Guests will be transported through time while viewing curated exhibits, the actual apartment Berry Gordy lived in with his family during the label’s earliest days, along with original recording equipment and the legendary Studio A.

 Schedule of Activities:

11:45 am - arrive to GM Wintergarden, a 5-story atrium located at the Detroit Riverfront entrance of the GM Renaissance Center,

 12:15 – 1:30 pm Buffet Lunch provided by Andiamo's includes house salad, pasta pomodoro, scottish salmon, chicken marsala, mixed vegetable medley, artisan rolls, coffee/tea/soda, spumoni ice cream  

(A brief update of SEMAFP activities/award presentations will be given during the meal)

Drive 4.5 miles to The Motown Museum - 2648 Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48208 

Private 1 hour guided tours at 2 pm, 215 pm, and 230 pm

Complimentary parking for lunch is available in the Beaubien Place Parking Garage, 238 Beaubien Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226, with direct access to Renaissance Center via 2nd level walkway.

There is metered street parking available near The Motown Museum
