Confirmation Registration 2022-2023 

In the Archdiocese of Boston, Confirmation preparation is a 2 year process.

The St. Agatha Confirmation program involves an individualized track for the first year of the program and an immediate Sacramental Prep Small Group during the second year. You can read more about the program on the St. Agatha Parish website.

At St. Agatha's our program is:

Year 1 = one year of an individualized Candidate Plan (4 quarters)
  • The Candidate Plan is goals in the categories of Mass, prayer, community, service, & formation! Formation includes both an in person option and something at home/online.
  • In Person formation options include attendance 1-4x/month at any of the following: Ignite (select Sundays 6-7 pm), Bonfire & Prayer (select Tuesdays 7-8 pm), and Small Groups (select Sundays 7-8 pm)
  • The first year includes quarterly check-in’s & updates to one's Candidate Plan (via google classroom)

Guidance and recommendations for each Candidate's individual Candidate Plan are provided; however, the Candidate and their family can make any edits or additions they would like so that the Candidate Plan fits their needs.

Since Candidates are on an individualized track, they can begin the program at any point in the year, including the summer. The earliest start date is July 2022.

Year 2 = 6-week Immediate Sacramental Prep Small Group

  • Material focused on the Sacrament of Confirmation
  • Accompanying paperwork including Sponsor Form, Request for Confirmation, etc.
  • Opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation

Confirmation Registration

The following form is a one-time registration for Candidates entering St. Agatha Confirmation Program.  Registration is open throughout the year and registrants are contacted on the 1st of the month after registering. The program has a one-time fee (for both years of the program) of $250/child.  If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Helen Waring prior to filling out the registration form.
