Come and see our new platform for delivering Diocesan Foundational Catechetical Certification (FCC) courses: the Franciscan University of Steubenville Catechetical Institute's Franciscan at Home. This new platform will vastly improve our ability to deliver quality formation to catechists, Catholic school teachers, administrators and others.
Thanks to funding by the Annual Bishop's Appeal and Catholic Foundation, there is NO CHARGE to attend, however, we do need an accurate headcount to have enough seating, materials and even more importantly, lunch! Thank you for registering before August 16.
Mass at Nativity Parish (8:00am Optional)
At the Distillery (9:00am):
The day will include time for processing, comfort breaks, Q&A and prayer. Join us and be "in the know" as the Diocese relaunches its Catechetical Certification process! You're going to be inspired by the possibilities as we devote ourselves to fostering households of discipleship through this new platform!
"Recognizing Anxiety in Students Post-Pandemic": A 45 minute presentation
Julie Duffy, Mental Health Counselor for Catholic Charities, will conduct an optional 45 minute presentation on anxiety in children post-pandemic. Julie will provide insight and awareness on how to give hope to difficult circumstances. This is being offered in response to the inquiries we've received about helping students cope with the anxieties they face. All participants of the FCC Re-launch are welcome to attend this optional presentation.
