QNUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (RQF) 

Who is this for? This qualification is intended for anyone working with children or young people (this may be in a paid or voluntary role). The qualification covers all of the elements of shorter “awareness” courses but also includes information on what to do with a disclosure and how to protect yourself from allegations.

Pre-Requisites: This qualification is available to those over 18 years. Candidates should be at least a level 1 numeracy and literacy or equivalent.
