I Have an IEP: What happens now?
FEAT's Online I-E-P-Workshop | Q & A

FEAT Parent Coaches will cover a full spectrum of ideas for your Independent Education Program (IEP), including:

  • IEP Basics with information about authorization of services and language to document temporary status of services that are incomplete due to the restraints of the pandemic. The hope is for parents to gain confidence that their child is entitled to services and have a full spectrum of what can be done for service delivery.
  • Q & A - Get practical with ideas about how to craft services and achieve progress for each person in these difficult times. Add your questions to ours:

Do services need to be listed?
Do timelines for assessments still apply?
What if parents choose distance learning option over in-person option?
Will we receive actual instruction for SAI?
My child has a 1:1, will the aide come to my house to help with distance learning?
What happens to all the services my child did not get March-June?
                Should I allow tele-assessment?
What if tele-assessment is not working for my child?
What are the timelines for annual IEPs?
                Who is collecting the data?

Schedule:
10am to Noon - IEP Basics
Noon to 1:30pm - Lunch Break
1:30pm to 3:30pm -  Let's Get Practical - Q&A
