Want to compete in a national competition for a chance to win $70,000 in cash awards?

In partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is hosting a local InnovateHER 2016 competition.  

The national competition is looking for a product or service that:

• has a measurable impact on the lives of women and families (30%)
• has the potential for commercialization (40%)
• fills a need in the marketplace (30%)

 

Local Competition

• 10 applicants will be selected for a live pitch on Nov. 19^th, 2015 at Square in San Francisco.
• This top winner will qualify to compete in the national competition. National selection committee will choose 10 throughout the nation to give a live pitch in Washington, D.C. in March 2016 and the top three winners will share the $70,000 cash awards given by Microsoft.  For more information visit SBA InnovateHER2016.
• Deadline for submitting your application is  Monday Nov.9th, 2015 at midnight.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Register and send a written business plan 1 - 20 pages maximum including attachments, and please include a one page executive summary on how your idea impacts the lives of women and families.
• Have a prototype of the product or service (tested the market, you will have a better chance of being selected if you have a prototype or have made sales and have customers).
• Sign a waiver form after the submission of your online application.
