SE Wisconsin Regional Symposium on
Heroin and Opiate Addiction

This all-day interactive event brings together diverse community stakeholders from throughout the region—including law enforcement representatives, public health and drug treatment professionals, community leaders, policymakers, and persons affected by drug addiction—to study issues of addiction and drug abuse from a variety of perspectives. The Summit aims to engage participants in a thoughtful, honest dialogue to develop comprehensive, community-based solutions to eliminating heroin and opiate abuse. Although preventing, treating and recovering from heroin and opiate addiction is a great challenge, we believe working together we can reduce substance abuse in the SE Wisconsin Region, including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Racine, and Washington Counties.
