08:45 AM   -  An Update from  Different GA Regulators on Various Issues Effecting Underground Storage Tanks to include key personnel changes, rules, forms and publications,  etc.
              GA EPD  -  Underground Storage Tank Program
              GA  Fire Marshals Office
              GA EPD  -  Office of Air Quality
              GA Fuels Laboratory

10:00 AM  - Break  -  Visit the Vendor exhibits.  Get your vendor card initialed so you will be eligible for the door prize drawing.  

10:30 AM  -  Update on Discrepancies Found by EPD Inspections.  What are the most common discrepancies.  What kind of fines are assessed.   GA EPD.
11:00 AM  -  Legislative Status of Issues Effecting UST Owners.

              New Publications Available from the Petroleum Equipment Institute

After Lunch  -   The New EPA UST Rules Requirements  -  
Receive GA EPD Approved Checklists and Training on How to Use Them
1:00 PM     Monthly Walk-Through Inspections  -  You have a decision to make  -  Either perform the required inspections yourself  OR  Hire a 3rd party contractor (such as your service contractor) to do the inspections for you.   To help you make that decision, we are going to go over the new EPD Approved Checklists in Detail so you can see what exactly will be required.

2:30 PM  -  2:50 PM   Break  -  Visit the Vendor exhibits.  Get your vendor card initialed so you will be eligible for the door prize drawing.   Last chance to visit the exhibits and qualify for the door prize drawings.

2:50 PM  -  Testing Requirements for Release Detection Equipment and for Spill and Overfill Equipment and for Containment Sumps.   We will show you what must actually be done to meet the testing requirements specified by the new rule.  What problems are expected in removing items that have been in place for many years, such as , Flapper Valve Drop Tubes and old Ball float Valves?   What about disposing of contaminated water that results from testing?

4:00 PM  -  Door Prize Drawing - $200 Cash Drawing and other prizes donated by various exhibitors.
