Was That Me Yelling: How to Yell Less and Enjoy Your Kids More!

with Rona Renner, RN

Yelling is a common form of discipline and can be caused by many things like being stressed, tired, or hungry. Often feelings such as frustration, anger, fear, or loneliness, can also trigger irritability or yelling. Many parents report that they just don't know what to do when their children misbehave, especially when a child talks-back or ignores requests. We'll talk about how to come up with a plan and discuss the things that trigger yelling.

Rona Renner,  RN has been a temperament specialist and parent educator for over 20 years and a nurse for 45 years. She is the parent of 4, grandparent of 2, and was the host of Childhood Matters Radio show for 10 years. She teaches parenting classes throughout the Bay Area, and offers private temperament consultations and parent coaching. She has recently joined the Institute for the Advancement of Psychotherapy.
