Halt the Ransomware Uprising - Protect your Systems and Bottom Line.

Ransomware continues to evolve and increase in frequency, severity and sophistication. Why? It is increasingly easy to execute attacks, cyber criminals will spend time “researching” their targets both big and small, and threat actors want to maximize the financial gain of an operation – just like any business would. Cybersecurity budgets are at an all-time high and growing to keep businesses safe from attackers all over the world.  Is a big cybersecurity budget enough? The speakers will share their views on current ransomware trends, claim scenarios, easy ways to protect your organization, and cyber risk issues to watch in 2021.

This course is approved by the Washington Office of Insurance Commissioner for 1 hour of CE credit. (CE Course Number: 626367)

Our Speakers:

  • Alex Ricardo, CIPP\US, Director, Business Development - Beazley - Cyber & Executive Risk
  • Susan Young, Managing Director – Marsh
Susan Young is a placement and advisory specialist with Marsh’s National Commercial Professional Liability Practice (part of Marsh’s Financial & Professional Liability Practice, FINPRO) in the Seattle office. She is primarily focused on cyber/security and privacy risk, media liability, and technology errors and omissions (E&O). Susan’s current responsibilities include conducting coverage analysis for clients and prospects, as well as negotiating with insurance carriers on terms and conditions. In doing so, she has a broad view of the coverage available in today’s cyber and E&O marketplace. Susan’s goal is to ensure that her clients’ existing and emerging cyber and E&O risk priorities are effectively addressed.
