Weaving the Wisdom of the Mystics into our Daily Lives
May 24-26th, 2019

We only have two double-beds and nine twin bed rooms available (each room has two twin beds). We still have room for commuters, and a Saturday only option.

Also, Mirabai Starr will be giving a talk on her new book Wild Mercy: Living the Fierce and Tender Wisdom of the Women Mystics, on Thursday evening at 6:30pm at the Redemptorist Renewal Center. The cost for this event is $30. You may register for this on the registration page.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------Due to family circumstances, James Finley will not be with us in person for this retreat, but he will be joining us for two live streaming sessions with Mirabai Starr. We are thrilled that Jim has highly recommended Mirabai along with himself to do a joint retreat. Mirabai will be here in Tucson while Jim will be joining us via live streaming. By gathering together for this weekend, we can show our support for Jim.

So it gives us great pleasure to invite you to the James Finley and Mirabai Starr Retreat in Tucson, Arizona. This retreat will be held at the beautiful Redemptorist Renewal Center, in Tucson, AZ. Come and revel in God’s amazing nature and beauty while engaging in the wisdom of James Finley and Mirabai Starr.

The topic for this year's retreat will be Weaving the Wisdom of the Mystics into our Daily Lives. During this weekend James Finley (video streaming) along with Mirabai Starr will focus on the women mystics and how to cultivate a mystical life and navigate a mystical journey. Mirabai is well known for her interspiritual work making connections between the essential teachings of love, found at the heart of all the world's great wisdom, and incorporate a special emphasis on the feminine spirit and wisdom.

We will be turning to passages in the writings of Hildegard of Bingen, Julian of Norwich, and Teresa of Avila along with others whose teachings offer guidance along the mysterious path of spiritual awakening. Attention will also be given to the day-by-day, lifelong process of yielding to ever-deeper realizations of God’s oneness with us in all things.

During this retreat, time will be given for group meditation, silence and personal reflection. This retreat will be silent until dinner each day.

We have received many inquiries about this retreat. Saturday only option is $200. The commuter cost is $325. To register, click here and you will see the registration button at the bottom of the page. If you have any questions, please email at contemplativewisdom2@gmail.com, or call 800-324-8305.

**We will once again offer a Thursday night talk by Mirabai Starr on the topic of her upcoming book WILD MERCY: Living the Fierce & Tender Wisdom of the Women Mystics.

------------------------

It’s with great pleasure and delight that I endorse the work of Mirabai Starr, who I find to be a soul companion as well as a professional colleague. In addition to being a gifted author, Mirabai is blessed with the capacity to inspire others with her wisdom and understanding of mystical theology. I referred to her translations of Teresa of Avila’s great masterpiece, The Interior Castle, while writing my own book, Entering the Castle, because of the excellence of her work. Mirabai is a rare jewel.
— Caroline Myss, Author of Anatomy of the Spiritand Entering the Castle

Mirabai is an authentic mystic, a true teacher, and a wonderful soul. Anyone who comes to her will find their cup will be filled. I recommend her as a person and as a teacher with great confidence and joy.
— Andrew Harvey, spiritual teacher and mystic scholar
