AllPlay Complex Rental Application 

AllPlay Complex is located in Seymour Smith Park in Omaha and has a certain areas available for rental and private use. This rental area is perfect for birthday parties, reunions, business or organizational parties, and can easily accomodate events for up to 200+ people.

For a $125 rental fee (and a $25 refundable damage/cleaning deposit) reservations may be made for up to six hours of private use. (Longer times are available of two hours for an additional $50 fee.)

AllPlay Complex is located in Seymour Smith Park, 6802 Harrison Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68128.  This $1.5 million dollar park was built in 2008 and was designed with barrier free features.  Priority reservations are given to organizations providing services for people with special needs, but the complex is available for rental by any groups for private events.

AllPlay Complex areas available for rental and private use:

• Two side-by-side shade pavilions with 3,200 sq. feet of shaded area (40 feet by 50 feet & 30 feet by 40 feet) and fifteen 8’ picnic tables that are located under the shade pavilions - this is the area connected to the Concession & Storage Building  - ( NOTE:  The Inside of the concession and storage buildings are NOT available for rent) 

•  Two 30 foot by 15 foot shade areas (green covers) used as player bench areas for Miracle League & Barons fields

• Areas available are immediately outside and around the AllPlay Concession & Storage building

• Three family restrooms  

• Use of the Miracle League Baseball field 
  

• There are two electrical outlets located on the outside of the concessions building and one outlet near the batting cage available for use.

• There is currently one grill available near the flag pole but grills may also be brought in and used. (Grills should NOT be used on the picnic tables and grease must not be left on the hard surfaces.)

• There is one drinking fountain on the concession building, and hot and cold water is available from the restroom sinks if needed.
  

You can:

• bring in non-alcololic food and drink (subject to Seymour Smith Park rules established by the City of Omaha Parks Department - see below.  City issued alcohol permits are NOT available for AllPlay Complex). 
• All trash must be placed in the receptacles provided.  
  
• Grills should NOT be used on the picnic tables and grease must not be left on the hard surfaces.
  

AREAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE USE 

(These features are open to the public and may be used by your party AND the public during your reservation): 

• Picnic shade area near water park (with 6 picnic tables) This area is available on a first-come first-use basis.
  

• Barrier free playground

• Spray ground (water park) 

• Batting cage

• The inside of the concession / storage building and two other restrooms are not available for private rental or public use.

Upon completion of your online reservation form and receipt of fees (credit cards are accepted), a permit will be mailed to you to document you reservation. The area will be posted with signs the day of your reservation, and instructions will be given to you about a key for use of the restrooms.  

HOW TO RESERVE ALLPLAY COMPLEX:

Reservations are accepted on a first come - first get basis.  Click on the  reservation button on this page to complete the online reservation form.  Reservations are not complete until funds are received, AND you receive confirmation of the date reservation. Confirmation will sent via email within 1-5 days.

Payments may be made with credit card via PayPal, or checks may be mailed (post mark on envelope will be used for payment date).  Upon completion of your online reservation form and receipt of payment (credit cards are accepted) your reservation will be posted to the AllPlay calendar and a permit will be emailed to you to confirm reservation.   On the day of your reservation the area will be posted with your reservation, and instructions will be sent to you about how to access the key lock box used for use of the restrooms a few days before your rental time.

RESTRICTIONS: AllPlay Complex is part of Seymour Smith Park and users must follow the City of Omaha Parks Department rules. City of Omaha park use restrictions: 

• Alcohol is not permited in Omaha City parks without a permit, and permits are NOT issued for AllPlay Complex.

• No open fires (except for grills).  Grills should be set-up on a grass area to avoid grease on concrete.  Grills should NEVER be set or used on the picnic tables.

• no projectiles (arrows, rockets, fireworks, etc)

• no weapons, 

• no bounce houses (unless $1 million dollars in liability insurance is obtained), 

• no dunk tanks, 

• no confetti 

• no painting on sidewalks, field, etc. (however chalk may be used if markings on the concrete are necessary), 

• no stakes in the ground (for tents, they must use cement block, sandbags or water barrels)

• no water balloon fights (messy and clean-up is difficult).
