Make it a day of SERVICE on Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Come join Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis & Education and take part in on of many important local community action projects. Below you will find a list of the opportunities that AAYTE is involved with this year.  We hope to see you there!

Community-Clean Up with Love 2 Serve – 2 Locations

Help pick up trash, debris, recyclables, paint inside, and organize the books and sports equipment at the recreation center for the children in the Love 2 Serve and after school program.

  • Mander Playground 10-1pm. 2140 North 33rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121

Zumbathon for the Homeless with Goodstein Junior Leaders

Begin the day at 9am by helping to prepare and serve food for the families and paint at the Stenton Family Manor Shelter, 1300 East Tulpehocken Street.

Then head over to West Oak Lane Charter School at 7115 Stenton Avenue to participate in the Zumbathon. This is a fundraiser for We Feed the Homeless Philly, so that they can continue to feed the homeless this winter. Please note that there will be a donation of $5 for kids, $10 for adults and all participants must sign a waiver.
