This group is for YOU! We meet on Wednesday afternoons to explore local Kansas City locations and have FUN!
*High School - Age 29. Space is limited.
We are excited to see everyone again at Autism Works and we understand that you may have concerns about health and safety issues.
*At this time, staff and participants will not be required to wear a face mask unless they choose to do so while in the building. We will notify you if this should change.
*Parents are required to wear a face maks when entering the building.
*Staff will be performing temperature checks.
*Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. Good hygiene skills and hand sanitation will be required.
*We will be cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces after every class.
*Gloves will be provided for hands on activities that require sharing materials.
*Everyone needs to bring a labeled water bottle. Water fountains are unavailable.
*If the participant or anyone in your family is feeling sick or has had a temperature within 24 hours, we kindly ask that you do not attend the event.
*Advance registration, selection of events and payment online is required. Please READ the DETAILS for each event. Departure times may vary. Sorry no refunds.
*Participants must be able to participate independently with minimal support/supervision and without disruptive or aggressive behavior. (Additional support must be provided by parents if needed).
*Transportation is provided for the participants only in our van from Autism Works to the activity. *Participants must wear a face mask while being transported in the van.
*Locations vary weekly. Costs: $30 - $45 per event.
