Basic Composition with a Focus on Cellphone Photography

10 a.m. Welcome and Coffee
10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a break for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Morning instruction will focus on basic composition guidelines and techniques as well as an in-depth explanation of the iPhone’s camera settings and features. Following lunch, attendees will practice using one or more of the techniques covered that morning by taking photos on the grounds of the KVH and submitting them for review in the afternoon session.

Requirements: Cell phone and charger.  Instruction will focus on the iPhone but all cell phone models are welcome.  

Basic Editing Workshop

10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a break for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
This workshop will cover editing basics such as cropping and straightening, light adjustments, tone and presence adjustments, simple style techniques and use of presets to create mood and light changes for an image. Members will practice editing images to be taken at KVH during the workshop. 
Requirements: An iPhone, iPad or other cell phone with chargers.  This workshop focuses on the Iphone, however, presenters will assist non-iPhone users to edit images taken with their phone’s editing programs.

$45 registration fee includes lunch. 

Current safety and health requirements will be followed. We will be practicing safe distancing; please bring your masks, drink container and hand santitizer.
