Omorinsola (Ola) Summers has been in the insurance industry for eight years. She was introduced to the industry by a mentor at church. Knowing nothing about sales, Ola decided that insurance wasn’t for her until her mentor explained that a customer first buys you and then buys the products. Having a heart to educate and assist individuals, Ola made it her mission to empower her clients through insurance. Ola’s insurance background began in the federal market which she did one-on-one appointments with federal employees to assist them with retirement supplements. She then transitioned to the community market to assist with the NO life insurance disparities that many families were facing. When the affordable care act for health insurance was put into place, Ola also learned this system and aided many families secure health insurance. Ola now runs Bara Legacies, a full-service benefits agency with her husband located on 76 th and center. The Summers specialize in supplemental medical and retirement benefits, life, health and dental insurance. Cameron Summers
Co-Owner
Benefit Specialist

Cameron Summers has a heart for the people. Cameron has experience in the Non-profit world where he worked five years for House of Vision, which was a transitional living home for drug and alcohol abuse patients. After the business closed, Cameron found himself transitioning into the insurance world. Cameron was introduced to insurance by his Wife Ola Summers. Like many others, Cameron first encounter with insurance was not until his 20’s and he felt it was boring, until he was able to get a better understanding. Cameron replaced the term “insurance” with “access to cash benefits.” This phrase helps the mindset of individuals to better understand what benefits can provide.

Debra Fifer
Benefit Specialist

Debra Fifer retired from the state of Wisconsin - Department of Corrections after 18 years of service. Looking for an industry shift, Debra pursued insurance. Knowing that insurance can be a conversation that many don’t want to have, Debra felt she could be an advocate due to her life experiences. Debra strives to educate about the advantages and disadvantages of not having insurance in place. Debra’s disadvantage of not having life insurance occurred when her only son was murdered and his dad and her had to pay out-of-pocket cost for his funeral. Debra has also seen the advantages of health insurance. She had a cancer scare and the health insurance she had in place paid during the testing period.  Debra’s mission is to educate and empower individuals on ways to develop their own wealth and protect; their assets and health. Debra’s education and empowerment comes by representing solid insurance providers that can meet any insurance needs at a reasonable price while providing protection.
