During two days of interactive, practical and thought-provoking workshops, teachers will  explore and discuss the three core concepts of UDL and how those concepts manifest themselves in the classroom. The structure and meaning of the UDL Guidelines and Principles are explained using multiple representations. Teachers experience UDL in action during a participatory demonstration lesson. Videos and text of exemplary UDL instruction are shared and reviewed for specific content areas, allowing teachers to personalize their learning to their subject area. Extensive exemplars and UDL tools and resources are provided. Teachers have built-in time to apply their learning to lessons or unit plans.

We encourage those unfamiliar with UDL to attend both days (or Day 1).

Those familiar with UDL are encouraged to attend both days but also welcome to come only for Day 2. Bring a lesson in your grade and subject area that you would like to work on!
