The Huron Carole Virtual

The Tour comes to your screen!

Join the Canadian Red Cross and The Huron Carole as we celebrate the holidays with a virtual concert you can enjoy from home, over Zoom. On December 14th, Tom Jackson will be hosting his seasonal variety show in support of Sioux Valley Dakota Nation and The Counselling Centre for Hope, Healing and Encouragement Inc. in Brandon.  The spirit of neighbours helping neighbours!

For more than three decades Canadian philanthropist, actor, and singer Tom Jackson has officially ushered in the Holiday season with his legendary seasonal concert-series and fundraiser, The Huron Carole. For the first time ever, its 33rd season will be presented virtually. For the audiophile and videophile enthusiast, show quality is exceptional.  Get a sneak peek here: https://huroncarole.ca

Join us on Thursday December 14 at 6:30pm CST.  Show begins with a live conversation with Tom Jackson, moderated by Maxine Schminke of the Canadian Red Cross, a welcome from Chief Bone of the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation and updates from The Counselling Centre.  The performance begins at 7pm CST.

Tickets are free - registration is required and viewing is only available through Zoom.

The Counselling Centre ensures that all are able to access professional care, regardless of their economic or employment status. The generous support of the community allows the Centre to subsidize thousands of dollars' worth of counselling each year!  Donations accepted by e-transfer or credit card by calling 204 726 8706

The Huron Carole Virtual is nationally sponsored by Canada Life and locally presented by the Canadian Red Cross.

"This Christmas season is going to be different from any other, and it's going to require us - as individuals and as a society - to look even more inside ourselves for a light of optimism...a silver lining...we must treasure that light and hang onto that silver lining with all our might."  Tom Jackson, O.C., LL.D.
