Tech Bridge Event Features Purdue Hypersonics Update
Please join us on Thursday, November 4, for a special virtual presentation that will feature three nationally recognized experts in the field of hypersonics. They will speak about the present and future of specialized hypersonics facilities at Purdue University and the impact of those facilities.
Thursday, November 4, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Speakers and topics include:
Joseph Jewell, assistant professor in Purdue’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, will speak on the university’s Mach 6 Quiet Wind Tunnel (currently operational) and the HyPulse high-enthalpy shock tunnel (currently under development)
Brandon Chynoweth, research assistant professor and lead engineer, will speak about Purdue’s Mach 8 Quiet Wind Tunnel (currently under development)
Scott Meyer, managing director of Purdue’s Maurice Zucrow Laboratories, will discuss propulsion research happening at the facility
