MEDIATION AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION TRAINING PROGRAMS

 

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Consulted in the design, development and implementation of a comprehensive, national workplace

      mediation program for responding to personnel conflicts

Designed and delivered mediation and conflict management training programs, including:

      •  basic mediation skills course delivered to more than 300 trainees

      •  specialized conflict management skills course for senior managers

      •  train-the-trainer course for more than 45 senior mediation trainers

      •  introductory conflict management course for front-line managers and union stewards

Mentored 25 workplace mediators who become senior trainers for all courses.

 

 

U.S. Postal Service

      Assisted in the designing of and then delivered training courses, including:

            •  introduction to workplace mediation

            •  orientation to workplace mediation for front-line managers and union stewards

            •  specialized training course for workplace mediators

 

Human Resources Development Canada   Designed and delivered five-day course to human resource personnel on managing small group conflicts.

 

Canada Customs and Revenue Agency  Designed and delivered workplace conflict management courses.

 

Basic and advanced mediation skills   Created and delivered one-day, two-day and five-day workshops for non-profit mediation centers and for private mediators throughout the US, Canada the UK and Ireland.

 

Basic conflict resolution and negotiation skills   Developed a variety of workshops and training courses on workplace conflict, negotiation skills and practices, and communication skills delivered to businesses, hospitals, government agencies and non-profit organizations.

 

Family Mediation Certification Training   Designed, developed and delivered the required family mediation certification training course, certified by the Mediation Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
