2023 Johnson County Master Gardener
Continuing Education Program
JCMG is pleased to announce GreenState Foundation is the presenting sponsor of our 2023 continuing education hybrid program and we have a great lineup of speakers who will present on Sunday, March 5.
The three presentations will cover prairies, gardening and trees: beginning at 1 p.m., Native Plants, Kristine Nemec, Iowa Tallgrass Prairie Center; 2:15 p.m., Community Gardening, Aaron Steils, ISU, Consumer Horticulture Extension Specialist; and 3:30 p.m., Planting Trees for Tomorrow, Nick McGrath, Trees Forever.
JCMG continuing education is free and open to the public and will be presented in person.
RSVP required for in person attendance by Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023. Attendance is limited to room capacity. Participants may bring their own refreshments.
Presentations will also be live streamed on City Channel 4 and JCMG Facebook page and rebroadcasted on YouTube channels and websites.
