Zoom instructions for this class will be sent to registrants at 7:30AM on the day of the class. We suggest you log into Zoom in advance to test that you are able to access the class. Wait for the moderator to admit you to the class. Thank you for participating online.

Jan 30, 2021 BDG Workshop - Pruning Spring Blooming Shrubs

The Bellevue Demonstration Garden (BDG) Workshop series can help you increase your gardening knowledge and skills. A broad range of topics based on scientific information emphasizing plants and methods that work in the Pacific Northwest are appropriate for both beginning and experienced gardeners.

The January 30 workshop will be presented by Christina Pfeiffer, Horticulture Writer and Educator. Learn how to prune spring blooming shrubs for year round display.

Christina Pfeiffer is a horticulture writer, educator and consultant with 40 years of experience in landscape management and arboriculture. Sustainable and efficient landscape techniques are a special area of interest and expertise. She is a part time instructor at Edmonds Community College Horticulture Program and a frequent speaker for local horticulture groups and public programs. She holds degrees from Michigan State and University of Washington and is an ISA Certified Arborist. Christina will be sharing information to prolong the beauty of the shrubs and trees in your yard.

Instructions for joining this Zoom talk will be sent to registrants at 7:30AM the day of the workshop. Workshops will be held on Saturdays, and the Zoom platform will be open at 9:00AM the day of the class. You must pre-register for this class to receive the Zoom instructions. A donation of $5 is suggested to help the Foundation support the Master Gardener program in King County.
