Little Miss Corpus Christi Pageant 

Welcome! Register here to participate in the 2018 Little Miss Corpus Christi Pageant to be held Feb. 10, 2018, at the American Bank Center. Young ladies will get to build their self-confidence and personal skills while making new friends, helping their community and having fun!

OUR MISSION

Our goal is to help young ladies build self-confidence and personal skills while they participate in a fun and exciting pageant experience! They will get to enjoy a variety of activities and learning opportunities as they prepare for their time on stage. They will get to learn & develop public speaking skills, make appearances at various events in the Coastal Bend, help volunteer at community events and more. Plus, of course, they will have fun learning the skills necessary for a fun & rewarding pageant experience, such as walking the runway, how to pose, personal care and more.

REQUIREMENTS

  • *Toddler Miss Corpus Christi: must be age 1 - 2 as of Feb. 10, 2018
  • Tiny Miss Corpus Christi: must be age 3 - 4 as of Feb. 10, 2018
  • Petite Miss Corpus Christi: must be age 5 - 7 as of Feb. 10, 2018
  • Junior Little Miss Corpus Christi: must be age 8 - 10 as of Feb. 10, 2018
  • Little Miss Corpus Christi: must be age 11 - 13 as of Feb. 10, 2018

*Different registration fee for this age group - see below.

THE PAGEANT

There are two categories for the pageant - casual wear and formal wear. (NOTE: Toddlers only need their formal look.) A panel of no less than eight judges will be evaluating the contestants on beauty, poise, personality and runway.

This is not a glitz pageant - everything will be kept age appropriate.

REGISTRATION AND WHAT IS INCLUDED

Deadline to register:

  • Jan. 19, 2018: Toddlers (1 to 2 years old)
  • CLOSED for ages 3+

Registration is $150 for all ages, except toddlers; toddlers registration is $90 (since they are too young to participate in certain workshops.) Payment plans for registration are available with a deposit of $50 - once completed, our staff will follow up with you to confirm payment arrangements for the balance due, or you may also call us directly at 361-425-3001 to do so.  

Each contestant receives the following (see note for babies/toddlers below):

  • Pageant sash (with name of her family and/or sponsor)
  • Official pageant t-shirt to be worn at official appearances & activities
  • Personal coaching with talent agent Lydia Blanco Garza of The Blanco Agency
  • Portrait session including an 8x10 print
  • Workshops on runway walking and posing
  • Hair & make-up tutorials (age appropriate) by Aveda Instituate of Corpus Christi
  • Personal appearances at numerous community events as a special guest and/or volunteer
  • Group outings (e.g., Corpus Christi IceRays games)

*TODDLERS: Since they are simply too young, certain workshops will be unavailable to this age group (e.g., public speaking workshop); thus, the reduced registration fee. Parents are certainly welcome to attend with their child for observation & socializing, regardless.

The prizes for the winners in each age group include:

  • 1st place receives cash prize, trophy, official crown & sash as title holder and continued appearances throughout the community until the following year's pageant
  • 2nd place receives cash prize, trophy, official crown & sash with designated title
  • 3rd place receives cash prize, trophy, official crown & sash with designated title
  • Additional prizes will be awarded for additional categories, such as Most Photogenic, Most Outgoing, Best Laugh, etc.
  • NOTE: Winner of the Little Miss Corpus Christi Pageant (age 11 - 13) will also receive a cash sponsorship, if and when she chooses to participate in the Miss Corpus Christi Teen Texas Pageant - official preliminary for the Miss Texas Teen USA Pageant.

Miss Corpus Christi Texas and Miss Corpus Christi Teen Texas

We are now recruiting contestants to participate in the 2018 MISS CORPUS CHRISTI TEXAS and MISS CORPUS CHRISTI TEEN TEXAS PAGEANTS for a chance to represent our city in next year’s MISS TEXAS USAŽ and MISS TEXAS TEEN USAŽ State Pageants, the official preliminaries to the prestigious MISS USAŽ and MISS TEEN USAŽ pageants!

Miss Texas USA:
At least 18 and less than 28 by January 1, 2018

Miss Texas Teen USA:
At least 14 and less than 19 by January 1, 2018
