Small Business Human Resources Workshop

Many new employers don't realize that certain state and federal laws apply to even your first employee. This workshop will show you what traps and pitfalls to avoid as you start to hire, as well as teach you what laws apply to your workforce as you grow. Even the smallest employer is not immune from a wage and hour audit. Starting off in compliance will only help you to remain in compliance as your business and workforce grow, and help you to avoid unnecessary fines and penalties. 

Ideal participant: A business owner who is contemplating bringing on that first employee, or a business owner with a fairly small and new workforce.
