Are You a Current or Aspiring Food Service Entrepreneur?

 Managing and growing a successful a food service business can be a challenge. Whether it's fast food, full service or a food truck, it takes a lot of planning and we have just the person to help you.

Heather Turner is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and has spent over 20 years in the restaurant business. She trained under one of the PBS Series “Great Chefs of America”, Chef Yves Labbe at 4 Star acclaimed restaurant, Le Cheval D’or as his Chef de Cuisine and have been the Executive Chef at Bellini’s Restaurant, The Cliff House at Stowe Mt. Resort and Harvest Market in Northern Vermont and at The Olde Inn on Cape Cod. She's helped open and consulted on over a 2 dozen restaurants and has worked extensively in catering as well running and organizing events from 50 to 2000 people.

The first hour of this workshop will focus on the planning process while the next two hours will address all aspects of operations including staffing and staff training, competition research, menu development and costing, advertising including website, social media and other online and offline advertising, vendor contracts, business and marketing strategic plans. We will also touch on sourcing equipment and evaluating vendors.

PRE-Registration is required. We may not be able to accommodate walk ins due to room capacity limits.
