Cybersecurity for Very Small Businesses: Part 1 


Small businesses are not immune from cyber threats. The 2022 Verizon Data BreachInvestigation Reports states “contrary to what many may think, very small organizations are justas enticing to criminals as large ones, and, in certain ways, maybe even more so.” It goes onand states that” These "cyber" incidents can and have put small companies out of business.”This workshop is the first of a two-part series. Adelis Sanchez and Marion Michaud will give youspecific actions you can take to make your business less enticing for the cyber-criminal. Thesecond workshop will cover additional actions you can take as your business grows and evolves.

Adelis Sanchez is a SCORE Merrimack Valley NH SME Volunteer. He is a Network Consultant Engineer, he has received several professional certifications for Penetration Testing, Reverse Engineering Malware, Network Security, and more. With 25 Years of experience in a variety of industries, particularly financial and Federal Government.

Marion Michaud is a SCORE Merrimack Valley NH Certified Volunteer. She has 30 years cybersecurity experience primarily supporting the DoD and Intel Community. She enjoys solving cybersecurity challenges and sharing that knowledge.
