Servant Leadership

“To lead people, walk behind them”  Lao Tzu.

Traditional leadership is a top-down design of the organizational chart: CEO, CFO and COO.  "A servant-leader shares power and focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong." -Robert Greenleaf

We will actively explore the seven pillars of servant leadership as individuals and how servant-led companies have integrated specific servant leadership principles and skills into corporate cultures and policies, resulting in a high correlation between high performance organizations and employee engagement, loyalty and job satisfaction.

Speaker: Lori Minnich

Lori Minnich, experienced as an entrepreneur, teacher and corporate trainer, currently serves as the executive director for the Small Business Development Center in Springfield, Ohio, providing consulting for small business owners in pre-venture, start-up and growth stages in Clark and Champaign counties.

Lori holds a M.Ed. and B.S. from Bowling Green State University, is a certified business advisor (The University of Toledo),  has a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (The University of Dayton) and has earned multiple certifications: Association for Talent Development/Corporate Trainer, AGILE Software Management,  Sandler Sales Training and OSHA 30-hour General Industry Hazard Recognition.

Actively engaging in community volunteer positions, working with youth support programs, animal rescue groups, fund raising and local festivals, provides the perfect balance of a professional career while supporting the local communities.
