You don't have to be a professional chef to enter, this is a competition for EVERYONE.  This year we have three categories for you to choose from:

The TRADITIONAL grilled cheese - just bread, butter and cheese.  No nuts, no fruit, no herbs... this is about that basic grilled cheese sandwhich that we grew up loving.  Plain bread (white, wheat), regular cheese (american or cheddar) and butter or oil.  That's it.  In this category it's all about the perfect, simple, ooey, gooey delicious grilled cheese sandwich.

The SAVORY grilled cheese (FILLED) - Take your grilled cheese sandwich and add ANY and ALL savory ingredients that you wish.  The inside must be at least 60% cheese but other than that the sky is the limit... nutty breads, meat, veggies, herbs, fancy cheeses, infused butter or oil.... you are only limited by your imagination.

The SWEET grilled cheese - This sandwich could be served for dinner or maybe even dessert.  The same rules apply the inside must be atleast 60% cheese, but the rest is up to you.  Cinnamon rainsin bread with cheddar... brie and green apple slices... bananas, nutella and cream cheese... oh my, this is a dream for anyone with a real sweet tooth.
