2012 REACH Education Conference:       REACH for Literacy

Greetings!

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2012 REACH Education Conference: Reach for Literacy, to be held May 31-June 1, 2012 at the Kenneth King Academic & Performing Arts Center on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver, Colorado. 

This conference is designed for educators, administrators, parents, middle and high school students, and literacy advocates who want to explore and understand the value of early reading readiness; embrace culturally relevant literature; and gain knowledge, insight and access to useful curriculum resources to create a richer learning experience.

Key Take Aways...

1.  Research, information, best practices, tools and resources that help promote literacy awareness, support literacy needs and positively influence the education experience.

2.  Exposure to the nationally-certified REACH curriculum to increase cultural awareness and competence in a way that enhances student engagement, especially in multicultural situations. 

3.  Interactions with 20+ local literary authors and networking with colleagues and leaders in the education arena.

Additional Conference Features
