Oakcliff International 2018 

The Oakcliff International is the third event in the GRAND SLAM Grade 2 Match Race Series. This is the penultimate match race event at Oakcliff Sailing for 2018. The winner of the Grand Slam earns a qualification spot at the Congressional Cup at Long Beach YC . 

There will be a cash purse. Oakcliff has 12 Swedish Match 40s with new sails. The boats are a thrill to match race. The other events in the GRAND SLAM Series are the CYC/CMRC Invitational, The Detroit Cup and new this year the Thompson Cup hosted by Seawanhaka Corinthian YC in Oyster Bay and also in the Match 40s. 

There will be  a $10,000 cash purse for the International which will be distributed according to the World Sailing schedule.

Invitations will be granted to the most accomplished skippers based on the ISAF World Ranking List. Special consideration will be given to international and women’s teams in addition to those competing in last year's GRAND SLAM Series. Please request an invitation (below) no later than June 1. Competitors may enter and pay their entry and deposit fees after receiving an invitation to this event. The winners of the Oakliff June 2-3 Grade 3 and  CYC / CMRC Grade 3 on MY 26 & 27 will receive invitations to the Oakcliff Invitational.
