US Sailing Judges Protest Day

Join us for US Sailing's Judges Protest Day facilitated by local International Judge, Bruce Cook. The $60 fee includes course materials, contential breakfast, lunch, and snacks throughout the day.

Protest Day is a new continuing education seminar where the attendees will be presenting, hearing and evaluating protests. The goal of this event is to make judges and prospective judges better at handling protests. From hearing the protest and getting the testimony from the parties and the witnesses, to determining facts and conclusions and writing decisions. The Judges Educational Testing and Training Committee has designed a variety of protests that will be presented and heard. This will be a cooperative learning environment where we all try to improve. Earn 70 CEU points towards recertification.
