This event is for 11 and under swimmers.  You will not need swim equipment. Please bring a water bottle and small snack along with your towel and goggles.

Sussex County YMCA 11 & Under Clinic


 WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Learn champion performance techniques from Olympic Medalist
  • Receive small-group personal instruction in the water on four strokes, starts, turns and streamline
  • Understand how your body, mind and heart affect your swimming
  • Ask questions, get autographs and take photos with the athletes
  • Receive a BREAKOUT! T-shirt and other souvenirs

RYAN LOCHTE
Has become a transcendent figure in the Olympic world. Ryan is an 12-time Olympic medalist (including five Gold, three Silver, and three Bronze). His seven individual Olympic medals are second all-time in Men’s Swimming and he is the current world record holder in the 200 individual medley. Ryan has been named both American and World Swimmer of the Year twice in his career (2010 & 2011) and has a total of 70 medals in major international competition including 45 first place finishes. As a Florida Gator, Ryan was a two-time NCAA Swimmer of the Year, 24-time NCAA All-American, and 7-time NCAA Champion.

JIMMY FEIGEN
 Is a 2-Time Olympian and one of the fastest sprinters in the world.  Jimmy was born in Hawaii but spent his childhood in San Antonio, Texas.  A late bloomer, Jimmy enjoyed summer league in middle school but quickly rose to national fame at Winston Churchill High School where his senior year he set the national record for the 50 free with :19.6.  Jimmy continued his dominance at the University of Texas where he won several individual, relay and team titles.  At the 2012 NCAA championships Jimmy won the 100 free , 4x100yd free relay and the 50 free in :18.8.  Later that year at the 2012 London Olympics Jimmy won a silver medal as part of the 4x100m free relay.  Jimmy finally reached his goal of a gold medal by helping the USA win the 4x100m free relay in Rio, Brazil.  Not only is Jimmy fast but he has a great mix of humility, humor and competitive drive.  Jimmy loves to share his message of pursuing excellence while enjoying the journey to the next generation of swimming champions.
