9TH ANNUAL STATE OF THE HEART SYMPOSIUM 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The State of the Heart program has been specifically designed for general practitioners, specialists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other allied health professionals who have a particular interest in cardiovascular disease. This program covers the latest topics in cardiovascular and metabolic disease, guidelines, late-breaking clinical trial results, and addresses patient care issues encountered in daily practice. For this program, CCRN hosts an outstanding faculty of Canadian leaders that presented excellent teaching and opportunity for group discussion surrounding real-world implications of the current evidence. 

This program is intended for General Practitioners, Specialists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Other Allied Health Professionals.

ACCREDITATION

College of Family Physicians of Canada – Mainpro+:

This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto for up to 5.5 Mainpro+ credits.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada – Section 1:

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, approved by Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. You may claim a maximum of 5.5 hours (credits are automatically calculated).

Receipt and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing at CCRN by email at mjones@ccrnmd.com or by fax to 905-456-8885. 

Requests for cancellations received before Monday May 28 2018, will incur a $10.00 processing fee. No requests for refunds will be accepted after Monday, May 28 2018.
