Managing FH Together: An Interchange Between Patients, Clinicians and Researchers

 Following this program, participants will be able to:

1. Recognize the high frequency of FH in Canada and discuss the approach to screening, diagnosis and cascade screening
2. Identify the major genetic causes of FH and the role of genetic testing
3. Apply appropriate risk tools to assess cardiovascular risk for patients with FH
4. Describe principles of treatment of FH, including treatment targets, existing and emerging therapies, and indications for specialist referral
