Giving Tuesday- Marist Seniors Give Back
On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, join the Marist Class of 2013, and help launch a "Day of Giving Thanks to Marist". Inspired by the National Giving Tuesday Event Marist seniors are coming together to transform the way seniors leave their legacy at Marist, to give thanks to the resources and people who inspired them and give our Red Foxes a chance to actively participate in the giving season!
On Tuesday, November 27, 2012, make a gift to the Senior Class Campaign and Tweet @Marist to your followers about your Marist experience. Use Hashtag #ThankfulRedFox
- Tweet and recognize a department that has helped you throughout your college career.
- Acknowledge a faculty member, administrator, family or friend who inspired you.
- Explain how Marist changed your life.
- Be thankful for your involvement in a certain club or sport.
- Why are our seniors or transfer students thankful?
- Acknowledge your freshmen residence hall that welcomed you into our community.

- Stop by Jazzman's on Tuesday, November 27 starting at 7 p.m. and make your gift in recognition of your Marist experience. Tweet and share in the experience with the rest of the Marist Community.

All senior gifts collected on Tuesday, November 27 will go towards the Marist Fund, as well as make a larger statement of support worldwide. As part of the a Senior Class Gift initiative, 10% collected on November 27 from the senior class will be donated to Operation Smile, a worldwide children's charity organization that helps treat facial deformities such as cleft lips & cleft palates. Make a statement of support to Marist and support Operation Smile at the same time. Use Hashtag #ThankfulRedFox.
Supporting Marist can signify a nod to the past; a vote for the future of the College; a re-validation of your own degree; and/or a very real way in which you can play a role in "opening the door to endless possibilities" for Marist students each year. The Marist Fund is all about unrestricted funds, which allow the College the flexibility to meet pressing needs as they arise. The Marist Fund supports facilities improvements, technology or equipment maintenance/upgrades, scholarship assistance, special service and study abroad program support, and discretionary funds for the various Schools on campus.
