Quincy University was founded by Franciscan Friars in 1860. It is a Catholic, independent, liberal arts institution of higher learning in the Franciscan tradition. Inspired by the spirit of Francis and Clare of Assisi, more than 1,000 undergraduate students are formed on this quiet, urban campus of 70 acres.
The TEC family gathers each year for three days in the summer so that the TEC Movement can advance and our call to encounter Christ may deepen. Everyone who is interested in bettering their TEC community is invited to participate. At TEC Encounter you will find:
- A deeper sense of community
- Networking opportunities with other members of the TEC family
- A greater knowledge of TEC’s spiritual processes
- An opportunity to gather and share resources
- Personal spiritual renewal
“I have come to set the world on fire, and I wish it were already burning." Luke 12:49
