The Spiritual Life Center is a retreat center and a place of pastoral formation. It exists to serve the People of God of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. Guided by the vision of the Bishop, the Center has been given the mission to develop programs for Adult Education, Spiritual Formation, and Lay Leadership. It is also home for various diocesan programs. Those who staff the Center work as a team, respecting the gifts of one another, collaborating with one another, and honoring all who come their way as they would Christ Himself.
TEC Encounter 2017:
Make Me Your Instrument!
The TEC family gathers for 3 days each year so that our call to encounter Christ may deepen. Everyone who is interested in bettering their TEC community is invited to participate. At TEC Encounter you will find:
- A deeper sense of community
- Networking opportunities with other members of the TEC family
- A greater knowledge of TEC’s spiritual processes
- An opportunity to gather and share resources
- Personal spiritual renewal

PRICING: There are 4 types of available registration:
Single (Private): $235
Hotel quality bedroom with private bathroom-- for ONE person only
Double: $195
Hotel quality bedroom with private bathroom-- for TWO people only.
Spouses must each register for a double room. See note on spouses below.
Young Adult Dorm Special: $100
Special rate for young adults ages 18-28. Shared room with no beds-- must bring own linens, pillow,
bedding (air mattress, sleeping bag, etc) and share communal bathroom.
Wichita Wheat Crew: $125
Registration ONLY for Wichita TEC Wheat Crew members who are staying at home (not on campus).
SPOUSES: Please read before registering:
Spouses may register on the same form using one shared email address. One spouse will fill out the form with her or her information, select "Double" as the room type, select the SPOUSE option on the form, and select a "Double" room type for the spouse. The total for spousal registration (not including shirts) will be $390.
Full refunds are available until June 7, 2017. Partial refunds MAY be available until July 1, 2017.
MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO ATTEND
LODGING
Registrants who mutually request each other will be paired as roommates. Others will be paired according to age range and gender. The single and double rooms are hotel quality and have private bathrooms. All meeting spaces are within walking distance and are handicap accessible.
TRAVEL
All those flying into Dwight D. Eisenhauer airport for Encounter can take advantage of Wichita TEC's shuttle service! On your registration form, please indicate if you are flying and provide flight information if you have it to help us coordinate rides. If you do not have your travel plans yet, we will contact you in May and June to get those details.
