Building on the success of the last two years, the 2017 symposium will focus on how those from across Texas can unite and make our voice heard, together, to improve adolescent health and teen pregnancy rates. This event will bring together hundreds of social workers, clinicians, researchers, practitioners, educators, youth service professionals, graduate students, and other key program staff from across Texas and the US and will provide them with the latest information, tools and resources along with the opportunity to connect with others doing this important work.

Participants will receive high-quality continuing education with an emphasis on medically accurate, evidence-based programs and best practices and will have the opportunity to gain and refine skills while networking with colleagues from their region and around Texas. The program will feature high-level plenary sessions, along with parallel sessions and professional development opportunities.

In addition to the two full days of planned programming, this year's event will also feature an additional day for in-depth trainings. These full-day sessions will be held on Wed, March 29 for an additonal fee of $125 each, lunch included.
