2017 Annual Clergy Retreat
August 27-29, 2017

The annual clergy retreat will be held from Sunday, August 27, through Tuesday, August 29, on the island of Kaua'i at the Kaua'i Courtyard. Participants are invited to arrive beginning at 4:00 pm on Sunday, and begins with dinner at All Saints' at 6:00 PM. The retreat ends after lunch on Tuesday. 

Returning to Hawai'i is Sister Barbara Jean "BJ" Brown, who will be the guest speaker for the retreat, and who led the Clergy Education Day in March. Sister BJ, an Episcopal Nun for over 30 years, is the founder of Anamchara Fellowship, a new monastic style of Religious Life that follows a Celtic model. She is also the Director of The Interfaith Resource Center, a theological lending library that serves all faith traditions in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

9:00 AM Second Session led by Sister BJ Brown

Afternoon group activity choices include a hike and museum tour.

Departure

Although there is no registration fee and airfare is covered, participants from neighbor islands will be asked to pay for their room and ground transportation.  Some of you might consider coordinating with colleagues to carpool and share the costs for renting a car.  Room rates start at $139/night, and the link to reserve your hotel is coming soon.*
