"One True Thing" Movie & Tour 

One True Thing is a 1998 American drama film directed by Carl Franklin, and starring Meryl Streep. It tells the story of a woman who is forced to put her life on hold in order to care for her mother who is dying of cancer. Our speaker, Dr. Michael Rockland, is a RU professor of American Studies.His Morristown NJ home was used as the set for the movie.

 Free lunch will be provided after the movie.  For those guests who are interested, you can  drive on your own to Dr. Rockland's home in Morristown or tour the Honors College. Note that the House tour is limited to 20 people.
