The RISE program is for parents/family members of children with any type of disability. This program hopes to give parents/family members a variety of tools/skills so they may be able to know what is available before a crisis/issue occurs.
FREE Informative Empowerment Sessions…
6 training sessions targeting resources, education issues, advocacy information and other topics related to navigating the disability service system.
Along with the resource information given, one on one support will be provided. We hope parents/family members will be empowered and gain the knowledge needed be effective advocates for their children.
