Mid-Atlantic Stream Restoration Conference 2017 

Please join us for the 8th Mid-Atlantic Stream Restoration Conference. This year we will explore “Building a Better Bridge between Science and Practice” How do we connect new and ongoing research/science with practice? The conference will be Sept 20-22, 2017 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.

This year's conference will feature new ways to actively engage the audience. The focus of the opening session will be the challenges faced in stream restoration.  The participants will have the opportunity (over 2 days) to make recommendations or identify solutions to these challenges. On the last day, the participants will discuss some of the solutions offered. The information will be available after the conference as well.

The second day of the conference will show case the latest in stream restoration research, data, design innovations as well as the latest on TMDLs and much more.  Sponsors and exhibitors will be available throughout the conference to discuss the latest technology plus tried and true approaches.

The last day of the conference will engage the audience in an interactive project design. A team (or teams) of designers will be given a scenario involving an impaired stream reach. The team(s) will present a preliminary design.  The audience and designers will discuss the various restoration approaches. Lastly, don’t miss the $500 drawing as the conference adjourns.
