Join us for a presentation by Scott Koehler of Dream Kitchen Builders on Smart Kitchen Design! Attendees will learn about smart kitchen technology including smart kitchen device automation using the Shortcuts App by Apple, and the basics of designing with augmented reality tools.

This presentation will explain how to use a Smart Kitchen survey to help clients make smart home tech decisions and how to assign values to smart kitchen gadgets and devices.

OBJECTIVES:

1. Demonstrate the Shortcurt App by Apple so kitchen designers can show clients how to automate devices and gadgets in the kitchen.

2. Learn how to use a Smart Kitchen Survey to assist clients with selecting smart products for their kitchen.

3. Demonstrate Augmented Reality by bringing virtual appliances and plumbing fixtures into a kitchen space in real time.

4. Give a live demo of Apple’s Smart Home App, HomeKit.

5. Discuss the current status of online privacy and personal data security and rights.
